Our Verdict
The Six Moon Designs ADC+ 45L takes everything I liked about the 35L version and scales it up for longer trips or bulkier kit. The flight harness system is outstanding — proper load lifters, adjustable torso length, and a hipbelt that transfers weight instead of just hanging there. The shoulder strap pockets are ideal for on-the-go essentials, and having usable hipbelt pockets on a travel pack still feels like a luxury.
The clamshell opening makes organisation easy, and I appreciated how the admin panel kept my charger, passport, and notebooks right where I needed them. The mesh front pocket works brilliantly on the trail for wet gear or quick-access layers, though I wouldn’t trust it with valuables in busy cities — it’s a bit exposed for that .At 1354g, it’s not the lightest 45L out there, but the carry comfort more than makes up for the extra grams — it’s easy to forget the weight once it’s on. The pack does feel a bit shapeless when underfilled, but that’s expected with this style of soft structure. The bottle pocket is still a bit of a stretch to access on the move, but that’s nitpicking on an otherwise dialled-in design.
