Our Verdict
The Six Moon Designs ADC excels at everything from city hops to forest trails and the odd international flight. The suspension system is genuinely trail-worthy — the harness is the same flight system used on their backpacking packs, and it shows. It carries well even when fully loaded, with load lifters and torso adjustment dialled in for a custom fit. I particularly liked the shoulder strap pockets — ideal for snacks, sunglasses, or a small bottle — and having dedicated hipbelt pockets on a travel-focused pack is a real win. Easy access without digging through your pack is underrated when you're on the move.
At 1319g, it’s relatively light for a pack with this much structure and comfort. The large mesh front pocket is brilliant on the trail for stashing wet gear or layers, but I’d avoid storing anything of value there in crowded streets — it’s a bit too open for peace of mind. Materials are solid and weather-resistant, though the pack can feel floppy when underfilled. The side bottle pocket’s a stretch to reach mid-stride, but that’s a small trade-off.
