The Bloc shape is GG's innovation to help you pack more efficiently inside your pack. Compared to a round shape the bloc fits better into the corners of your pack they stack nicely and eliminate all the “dead air” that can happen when you try to pack with round stuffsacks. Less dead air means better load stability quicker pack loading and the possibility of carrying the same amount of gear in a smaller pack saving you weight.

REUSABLE PACKAGING

Every sack item comes packaged in its own zippered sack, intentionally designed to be reusable. The best way to keep packaging out of landfills is to make it into its own standalone product. Tear the front product description tag off along the perforated edges and you have a clean zipp sack perfect for organization inside your pack. You can even attach on the outside of your pack by utilizing the webbing loops on both ends. The front description is printed on recycled Tyvek® tags and is fully recyclable. Please recycle after it's removed. The zippered sack packaging is made with the same technical lightweight fabrics as the main product inside. The colors indicate the different fabric types. The color of the items inside will vary and do not correspond to the packaging color.

Cordura Sil-Nylon body Up until now Cordura was only available in the familiar 500 dernier or 1000 dernier. Dupont recently changed that and is now using their proprietary High Tenacity nylon yarns in many innovative new ways. High Tenacity yarns are stretched as they are made making them much stronger than regular nylon.

Granite Gear worked closely with Dupont to develop this fabric for the Air-Line series of ultralight packing systems. The result is a 1.1oz Sil-Nylon ripstop fabric with the strength of a much heavier fabric.

Micro cord and Cordlock: Why add weight where you don`t need to? The micro cord and cordlock are all you`ll need.

Hypalon Grommet: Offers durability and saves weight over a brass grommet. We`ve found that lightweight brass grommets can pull out of lightweight fabrics and that no grommet at all is always a problem.

Fully Finished Seams Details details - you won`t find any raw edges or sloppy stitching - guaranteed.  

Our Verdict

Tough quality sack at an incredible weight. These new AirBags are shaped for packability and come with a small re-usable bag ideal for those small items.
