Perfect for hot days on the trail, the mesh-covered Air Contour™ lumbar pad allows plenty of airflow to reduce sweat build-up, and is pre-curved for a comfortable fit, whether you’re hiking, pedalling, or running.
The water bottle pocket has been strategically oriented so you can easily grab the flask on the move. Two zipped compartments allow you to keep your phone, keys and snacks organised, and there are further mesh pockets on the outside for quick access. An easy-pull side hipbelt adjustment helps to secure a close fit and reduce bounce when you’re negotiating uneven ground.
Finished with a 100% fluorocarbon-free DWR, the Aeon LT Hydro is the ideal compact hydration station which keeps your upper body free and your kit secure.
Our Verdict
At 94g, it’s designed for those who bring minimal kit on short hikes or runs. The 500ml bottle sits securely in an angled mesh pocket. The Air Contour lumbar pad keeps things breathable and comfortable against the back, and the belt’s pre-curved shape and side adjustment help it stay put with little bounce, even over uneven ground.
Storage is compact but well thought out: Two zipped compartments handle small items like keys and snacks, while external mesh pockets are useful for quick-grab gear. I liked the internal security pocket for keeping valuables tucked away. It’s best suited to those carrying only the essentials—there’s not much room to expand beyond the basics. But for lightweight, comfortable hydration on shorter outings, it delivers.
