Keeps your brew hot, your water cold, and your pack simple — without cutting corners on usability or design.
GSI Outdoors says:
Lightweight 500ml stainless steel bottle keeps your drinks refreshingly cold for up to 20 hours or piping hot for up to 10 hours. Stainless steel makes it rugged and pure, and the insanely thin 2mm walls keep the profile trim enough for cupholders and other tight spaces. The cap is amazing. Lock it tight for travel, then push a button and it flips up for easy drinking.
Our Verdict
The Microlite 500 Flip from GSI Outdoors is impressively efficient without feeling over-engineered. At just 243g, it’s lighter than many double-wall flasks I’ve used, yet still keeps tea hot through most of the day and water cool well into the next. The flip lid works one-handed and locks firmly. Its stainless steel body feels solid, but it will dent if knocked about — something to be aware of if it’s riding on the outside of a pack. What I appreciate most is the compact profile: it slides neatly into side pockets—no frills, no faff — just solid, practical performance.
