Our Verdict
Inov-8 make fantastic trail running shoes and hiking boots, so I was very excited when they combined both into this lightweight hybrid.
As soon as you get these on, you can instantly tell how comfortable and well-cushioned they are. They support the ankle but are so light you feel like you have slippers on. Out-of-the-box comfort!
Inov-8’s biggest draw for me is their durability; Graphene infused rubber on the soul of their shoes, G-GRIP seems far more rugged than any rubber used by anyone else on the market. They have deep 4mm lugs that aggressively grip the dirt on any terrain.
They have a well-cushioned midsole that provides a good amount of bounce; these boots propel me forward. The biggest test for me is always how badly my feet hurt after a long section of road walking on a multi-day hike, and these kept me going without being in too much pain. Big fan of these and Inov-8 in general
