Created in the kitchen with delightful vegetables consisting of onions, peas, green beans, cauliflower, sweetcorn and bell peppers, and cooked in a traditional tikka masala curry sauce, this favourite vegetarian recipe contains the perfect combination of spices, served alongside exquisite white rice. The Vegetable Tikka with Rice dish serves as a hearty meal away from home whether you are exploring India or enjoying a weekend camping trip to the Lake District. Just add hot water, stir and wait five minutes. You won't believe a meal could taste this good.
Preparation: REMOVE THE OXYGEN ABSORBER* (Sachet) from inside the pouch. Slowly add up to 265ml hot water, stirring as you pour and then close the bag. Wait 5-8 minutes for the food to rehydrate.
Cold water will suffice, however the re-hydration time is much longer.
* The oxygen absorber helps maintain product freshness and is non toxic. DO NOT EAT.

STAFF'S TASTE TEST - 450kcals is reasonable. It says wait 8minutes for rehydration, some of the peas were still hard after 10 minutes. Very spicy, I like spicy food but this was hot. Although it was very spicy it didn't have much depth of flavour. |
