Our Verdict
The Patagonia Terrabonne Jogger transitions perfectly between a summer-weight trail pant and a more casual every-day-ready jogger. The articulated knees and crotch allow for a great range of movement despite the slim-cut, making them suitable for a wide range of activities. The minimalistic waistband is basic yet sufficient and is certainly an area where weight has been saved. The pants are tapered and are finished off with an elasticated cuff, which doesn’t grip too tightly around the ankle. The front pockets are a little on the small side, but the singular zip-closure back pocket more than makes up for a lack of space in the front, comfortably securing a modern smart phone with room for snacks. If you are looking for a sleek looking trail pant which wouldn’t look out of place around town, you are in the right place. Despite the ultralight weight, you aren’t compromising performance either - the 100% recycled Ripstop polyester is finished with a PFC-free DWR coating boasting a 40+ UPF sun protection. At 162g (Medium) makes the Terrebonne Jogger the lightest in the trekking pant category.
