Light weight yet highly durable and practical. The Scurry provides you with a mass of impressive storage options in a well thought out design. Ideal day pack or commuter bag.
Granite Gear says
The Scurry is a lightweight 24-liter pack ideal for scrambling up rocks and the variable conditions your route may take. The dense low-profile foams in the back panel and shoulder straps keeps your pack high and tight and helps it move with you and close to your center of gravity.
Our Verdict
Granite Gear's Scurry 24 Litre Rucksack is a practical and versatile pack that works really well for day trips in the hills, commuting to work and general use. The 24L capacity is enough for a fast and light overnight trip if you are happy to go minimalist, otherwise it's a really practical pack with a large main pocket with hydration sleeve, a surprisingly large zip pocket on the front with drop pockets inside, along with two good sized stretch mesh side pockets, gear loops and compression straps.
There is enough padding in the back and shoulder straps to keep you comfortable when it's full. This is coupled with classic adjustable straps on the shoulders and waist for dialing in personalised comfort. The roll-top closure helps with varied loads but it's debatable how necessary it is. Overall, the storage options in such a small pack is fantastic and it is my go to pack for everyday outings.
