Simply put the rain cover on to your backpack, adjust the size with the drawstring and fasten it with the buckle to ensure that the cover stays in place. Our Verdict
Some rucksacks come with their own waterproof rain covers, but for those that don't, it's best to purchase one separately to ensure the contents of your pack stay dry. Obviously, they are not always needed if you’re travelling through hot and dry climates, but for those who regularly trek in wet conditions (hello UK), your pack slowly starts to absorb rainwater, making your pack feel heavier and heavier, whilst ruining the kit inside.
