Our Verdict
At 120g, it’s light enough to carry on trips where a seat feels like a luxury. The setup takes a little adjusting to stabilise it, but once cinched down properly, it forms a surprisingly comfortable perch for cooking or relaxing in camp. I appreciate how it uses gear I’m already carrying, keeping things efficient. It works best with horizontal baffle mattresses, so it’s worth checking compatibility if you use something else. I wouldn’t call it essential, but it's a nice addition for those longer trips where sitting off the ground makes a difference.
