Our Verdict
MPOWERD's Luci Lux Inflatable Solar Light is fully waterproof, surprisingly robust and very practical. The super lightweight nature of this means it's a perfect lantern for camping and it's robust and waterproof so suits outdoor use. However, this Lux version has a frosted cover so it provides a much softer, more ambient light that makes it very versatile. The light has 3 settings with super bright, bright and one second flashing light giving you plenty of options depending on what you're using it for. The ten LED lights provide a very good amount of light capable of illuminating your tent, room, poolside area or any other place you might decide to use it.
The full charge takes 7 hours but in reality a couple of hours in daylight will provide a decent amount of light to see out a normal night. The solar panel is on the bottom of the light and it has an adjustable strap which is great for hanging up and for sliding a strap through so you can hang it anywhere to charge up. There are two buttons on the bottom of the light, one to control the settings and the other is for the battery level indicator. It is easy to inflate and deflate with the simple valve making it quick and easy to use at any point. On the low setting the battery will last for up to 24 hours so it is easy to top up the charge when you're just using it on an evening.
