The Hot Cereal with Mango breakfast combines oats, mango and milk powder to create a real power breakfast that will fuel you across the Appalachian Trail or up and down the peaks of Patagonia. Just add hot water, stir and wait five minutes. Yummy!
Preparation: REMOVE THE OXYGEN ABSORBER* (Sachet) from inside the pouch. Slowly add hot water, stirring as you pour and then close the bag. Wait 5 minutes for the food to rehydrate. Cold water will suffice, however the re-hydration time is much longer.
* The oxygen absorber helps maintain product freshness and is non toxic. DO NOT EAT.

| STAFF'S TASTE TEST - At 450kcals this is a substantial breakfast. I couldn't find on the packet how long I should wait for it to reconstitute so I waited ten minutes, which was fine. Rehydrated very well, had a creamy taste like full fat milk when you have been drinking skimmed. Single cream is listed as an ingredient. The bits of Mango were nice. Overall 7/10 because it was too creamy for me. |
