Filtering up to 1.75 liters a minute without any pumping, the high-capacity GravityWorks 6.0L water filter is one of the easiest and fastest ways to get filtered water in the backcountry. Ideal for bigger backpacking groups or basecamps, the system has a 12-liter total capacity, easily supplying filtered water for drinking, washing up, cooking, and cleaning.
Comes with: 6.0L Clean reservoir, 6.0L Dirty reservoir, Hollow Fiber microfilter, hoses, shutoff clamp, and storage sack.
Our Verdict
Gravity fed water filtration systems are quite new - this one is very light indeed, considering both reservoirs are 6.0L - so its ideal for camp use. On the downside filters can get clogged - and this one will be no different - if you expect to take water from sources without sediment then this would be a good choice to filter out the nasties. Heavily contaminated water will clog it quickly though and it would only work excruciatingly slowly!
