The Montane Fury Hoodie is a highly versatile fleece jacket that delivers impressive warmth, durability, and stretch for various outdoor activities, from hiking to mountaineering.
Built with Thermo Stretch fleece, the Fury Hoodie excels in balancing insulation and breathability. The soft brushed fleece interior traps warmth while effectively managing moisture, keeping you comfortable during high-output activities. Its smooth nylon outer face adds durability and abrasion resistance, making it well-suited for rugged use. The four-way stretch ensures excellent freedom of movement, whether scrambling over rocky trails or layering under a shell.
Design details like a snug hood that fits neatly under a helmet, low-profile seams, and two zipped hand pockets make it functional and comfortable. At 409g (size M), it’s lightweight yet provides sufficient warmth for cooler conditions. While some might prefer an adjustable hem, and I would love to see this jacket with thumb loops, it is a well-made fleece that will see year-round use, whether as a mid-layer in winter or a standalone jacket in spring and autumn
