The Buff Fall Line Cap offers a stylish solution for cold-weather hikes, combining comfort with protection. The 100% cotton outer feels durable yet soft, and the adjustable strap ensures a secure fit. I found the thermal insulation and fleece-lined ear flaps excellent for windy, chilly days, providing warmth without being overly bulky. The short, flexible visor is handy, keeping the sun or light rain off your face without obstructing your view.
Weighing just under 100g, it’s light enough to wear all day, and the microfleece interior adds a soft, cosy feel. While it's best suited for low-intensity activity in cold conditions, the cap is versatile for casual hikes or camp days when the temperature drops.
