Evernew's ECA-253R Titanium Ultralight Pot 1.3L is ideal for two, probably too big for solo use. The squat dimensions make it ideal for use on a stove with a wide burner head, these tend to be better at simmering and general cooking than concentrated burners which can result in hot spots.
Evernew says
The 1.3 Litre titanium pot is large enough for two person cooking. This pot features insulated handles covered in a heat-resistant silicon to protect the user. The handles fold away too, for easy low-profile storage in your pack.
The titanium used to make these pots is extra thin and 20% lighter than standard products. Yet its still durable and strong. This is achieved through special processing. Evernew don`t heat the titanium, it is cold pressed only with the help of oil. This is not only a lengthy process, but also requires highly skilled workers.
Our Verdict
This 1.3L pot is an ideal size for making `one-pan` meals for up to two people.
The low and wide dimensions suit a burner with a wide flame spreader, and using it in this way will speed up heating. Especially like the volume graduations which can be easily read. Evernew pots nest neatly with others in the range, so the 0.6L pot fits neatly inside the 0.9L, which fits neatly inside the 1.3L etc.
Evernew cookware is superb quality and the lightest around.
