Evernew's ECA-252R Titanium Ultralight Pot 0.9L is short and fat, when used with a stove with a wide burner head you get less hotspot and more even heat, so it can be better for more complex cooking. 0.9L is a good size for solo use even if you are doing more than just the basics cooking-wise, if you are boiling food for example your pan needs to accommodate the extra water as well as the food volume.
Evernew says: Ultralight titanium pot suited for solo back-packers. This pot features insulated handles covered in a heat-resistant silicon to protect the user. The handles fold away too, for easy low-profile storage in your pack.
Our Verdict
If you generally go solo then this 0.9L pot is an ideal size for making `one-pan` meals.
The low and wide dimensions suit a burner with a wide flame spreader. Using it in this way will speed up heating. We especially like the volume graduations which can be easily read. Evernew pots nest neatly with others in the range, so the 0.6L pot fits neatly inside the 0.9L, which fits neatly inside the 1.3L etc.
Evernew cookware is superb quality and the lightest around.
