Granite Gear is committed to making our packs and gear more environmentally friendly. We are taking our next step with our ECO lineup headlined by use of Regen Robic, recycled high-tenacity nylon fabrics, webbings, and foams in our suspension system. They are Global Recycle Standard certified. The polypropylene frame sheet also has an environmental approach by being made utilizing scrap plastic that would have ended up in landfills. The first items to utilize these ECO materials in the line will be the newest additions to Granite Gear's flagship collection: the Crown3 series and a new item, the Lumbar Pack Lid.

Granite Gear's Crown3 60 S.I. Eco Rucksack seamlessly marries sustainability with performance. Building on the foundation of its predecessor, the original Crown3, this updated version introduces an array of eco-conscious materials without compromising the ultralight yet robust design that Granite Gear is known for.
The pack's lightweight nature is impressive at 1282g for the regular torso length, particularly considering its 60-litre capacity and the rugged durability of the recycled Regen Robic® nylon fabric. The material is tough and environmentally sound, boasting Global Recycle Standard certification. The fact that the frame sheet is constructed from scrap plastic that would otherwise contribute to landfill waste is a welcome innovation for environmentally-conscious hikers.
Comfort is not sacrificed in this eco-friendly overhaul. The fully adjustable Re-Fit hip belt and dual-density shoulder harness deliver the customisable fit that hikers with varied body types will appreciate. The pack’s ability to handle a 15kg load comfortably speaks to the effectiveness of its updated Vapor Current Mark 3 frame.
