Bothy Bootys are fleece-lined slippers with a high-traction rubber sole. They are comfortable, warm, dry, and suitable for various activities, including wild camping, campsite camping, and everyday use.
Berghaus says:
The Bothy Booty is ready for whatever, whether at the end of a long day on the trail, or relaxing at home. The Bothy Booty is a basecamp-inspired boot with high-traction rubber sole that can be worn both outdoors and indoors. A higher cut over the ankles provides added protection to the water-resistant Bothy Booty, which is insulated with a fleece liner.
Our Verdict
I am a big fan of these fleece-lined Bothy Bootys. They are easy to put on and take off, adding warmth and comfort. The high-traction rubber sole is the best feature for me. I would be confident walking around camp in these, unlike some other hut booties. The sole is thick and would not let any water through if, for example, was walking through wet grass in the morning.
I have used them wild camping, on the occasional campsite, and they have now replaced my everyday house slippers. They are always comfortable and keep my feet warm and dry.
