Our Verdict
At 710g for the medium, this 28-litre pack strikes a smart balance between carrying capacity and comfort. The back panel and shoulder straps use a recycled mesh that’s soft against the skin and does a decent job of keeping things cool in warmer weather. While it’s not the most structured pack out there — there’s no internal frame or load lifters — I found it carried well when packed sensibly, especially with lighter loads.
The layout is straightforward but practical: a main compartment with a hydration sleeve, a handy front stash pocket with drainage (ideal for wet layers), and two bottle pockets that fit a full-sized flask each. The hip belt pockets are pretty small — a few snacks is about your limit — but the top lid pocket and included rain cover round things off well. I like that the rain cover stows in its pocket, rather than being loose or an afterthought.
With its recycled build and Fair Trade certification, this is a good option for anyone looking for a responsibly made, well-fitting pack that covers the needs of long day walks or lightweight overnights.
