This 3 fold 4 section mat extending to 80cm long is supplied in place of Sitmat in newer Classic Marathon 25L Classic Marathon 32L.

Leanweight insulation mat insulates from hip to shoulder for a minimal sleep solution and doubles as backpack padding. Closed cell foam with a non slip upper surface. Included in Classic 25, 32 and Phantom 25. Also, useful as a dry insulated seat during breaks.
Our Verdict
Thickness of the folded mat is about an inch so you can imagine that the pad is very thin so its designed for insulation and only minimal comfort support.
This will suit many ultralighters, whereas others will use an inflatable pad and carry the extra 200g (minimum) for the extra comfort.
