Our Verdict
Mammut's Ducan 24 Rucksack looks simple and fairly minimalist at first glance. Despite the clean looks, there are plenty of features including a number of easy to access pockets, a lid with two zip pockets and hydration compatible sleeve. The main benefits of the pack are the levels of adjustability with the shoulder and hip belts allowing the best possible fit. The frame allows the pack space for air to flow and good ventilation when you might start to heat up.
There are a number of handy pockets on the pack with two small stretch mesh pockets on the shoulder straps, a secure zip pocket on the hip belt and two mid sized stretch mesh pockets on the sides of the pack that are angled forward for easier access. The Velcro for the trekking pole holders can be removed when not in use, keeping the clean looks of the pack.
