Rab's Womens Zenith waterproof pants are very accomplished with a full range of features and the excellent GORE-TEX Paclite Plus to keep out the rain.

While our Women’s Zenith Pants are built from lightweight 20D GORE-TEX PACLITE Plus, they feature 40D panels in the knees and seat for extra protection, as well as reinforced kicker patches for ample protection from your crampons. The Zenith Pant also comes with an elasticated waist, as well as offset seams and articulated knees for outstanding flex and comfort when you lift your legs high. And if a small amount of water does manage to make it through the three-quarter-length zip, an internal storm flap is designed to funnel it safely away. Equipped with its own compact stuff sack, the regular-fit Zenith is the ideal easy-carry pant, whichever jacket you favour.
With its GORE-TEX construction, reinforced wear patches and climbing-optimised cut, our lightweight Zenith Pant is a premium summer waterproof for a range of mountain activities.
Our Verdict
Rab's Womens Zenith GTX Pants have a good feature set and are made using the well regarded GORE-TEX Paclite Plus fabric, add to that the 3/4 length zips and reinforced areas and you have an excellent pair of overtrousers.
The simple waist drawcord is ideal and there's even adjustment at the ankles so that they aren't flapping about. Overall, give the length of the zips, the reinforcements etc.., the weight isn't prohibitive.
