The very large volumes allow a very high wearing comfort. The new Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane is also made with end-of-life plastic materials and is Bluesign® certified. Our Verdict
Inspired both by La Sportiva mountaineering boots and also their mountain running range, this incredibly light shoe does feel more like a trail runner when on, very light, and very breathable.. The foot box is slightly larger than most hiking boots, which gives the toes more room to naturally spread.
The new Gore-tex Extended Comfort membrane lining, which wraps around the boot and gusseted tongue, provides complete waterproofing and is now made from recycled plastic. The mid sole is strong and supportive, with a good degree of flex towards the toe end, giving you adaptability on the trail, while still being strong enough for the scrambles and climbing sections of your hike.
The sole of the boot is Vibram Eco Step, which gives you fantastic traction on all terrains even when wet. Differentiated lugs provide good traction on ascents and a sure grip on the descents, the lugs also shed mud well.
