Our Verdict
Patagonia's Womens Nine Trail Shorts - 6" are a comfortable pair of shorts for both running and trail walking. The waistband is a wide, soft and eslaticated which means it doesn't feel like it's cutting into you.
A small pocket on the back with a key loop is not big enough to hold anything more than a set of keys, no phone on the market would fit into this pouch.
They also have a built in underwear/liner which can be a deal breaker for some.
