We've been continually developing our range of raincovers and have designed a range of ultralight 'High-Vis' raincovers perfect for defending against downpours. Each ultralight 'Hig-Vis' raincover packs down to roughly the size of a tennis ball and comes with its own pouch for easy storage. The reflective graphics, high visibility material and blinker light attachment mean that even in the worst conditions you'll always be seen.
Our Verdict
Some rucksacks come with their own waterproof rain covers, but for those that don't, it's best to purchase one separately to ensure the contents of your pack stay dry. Obviously they are not always needed if your traveling through hot and dry climates but for those who regularly trek in wet conditions (hello UK) your pack slowly starts to absorb rainwater, making your pack feel heavier and heavier, whilst ruining the kit inside.
Osprey's Ultralight High Viz Raincovers are lightweight to carry and compact when not in use. The high visibility material and reflective logo allows you to be seen, even in foul weather. They're available in two sizes so make sure you get the right size for your pack.
