Our Verdict
Buff's Trek Cap has the style of a simple, traditional cap but the fabrics make a huge difference. The soft stretchy fabric is really comfortable, even when the conditions are hot. The crown is perforated to provide some ventilation and improve the breathability. The sweatband does a good job of wicking moisture and the cap dries really quickly so as soon as you pause for a break it starts to dry out. This works really well for a range of activities from running to hiking or just casual wear but it really comes into its own when things heat up.
