The Saddle-Bag attaches directly to your bike seat with an adjustable snap buckle. The intuitive adapter allows you to quickly attach the pack to or detach it from your bike. Moreover, the snap buckle is compatible with all previous Saddle-Bag Two models so that you could use it on different bikes. A Velcro strap that attaches to your seat stem provides additional stability, effectively preventing any unwanted shifting. Another advantage in the case of the large pack is that it doubles as a rear fender, keeping spray water off your back. Not suitable for carbon seat posts and carbon saddles!
Our Verdict
Made from Ortliebs incredibly waterproof, durable material this saddle bag is perfect additional storage for critical gear, such as a bike-repair kit, a smartphone etc. The roll top is fixed with 2 side buckles so you know you are getting a secure, tight closure. The bag sits neatly underneath the saddle without protruding, so you get a sleek streamlined design.
Highly effective Scotchlite reflectors and a daisy chain located down the spine of the bag, to which a tail light can be attached to ensure safety in the dark.
