Our Verdict
These fast and light hiking boots are an updated version of the incredibly popular original Roclite G 345, one of my favourite hiking boots. They are still going strong. The newly updated V2s are more comfortable and durable than the original.
Straight out of the box, these are a joy to put on; they are more cushioned and, despite their Gore-Tex membrane, are still breathable and very flexible. If you are after a supportive mountain boot, this isn’t what you want, they don’t lock in like a full-on boot, but for everything apart from technical winter conditions, these are perfect for day hikes, summiting and multiday hiking.
inov8 always instils confidence in me as I have used several of their trail runners and hiking boots, and their grip always impresses me. They use a Graphene-enhanced rubber that delivers insane sticky traction AND increased durability. The 6mm lugs aggressively bite into any terrain and shed mud well, so they don’t get the weight down in stick-wet conditions.

Features
