Berghaus' Paclite Peak Vented Gore-Tex Jacket is perfectly designed to protect you from the elements when you need it most. The lightweight and highly packable design allows you to keep this jacket in your pack with ease until it is needed. Gore-Tex Paclite gives you a proven, reliable waterproof barrier that effectively keep out the wind and rain. The addition of some excellent venting in the form of pit zips is very welcome and makes this shell much more pleasant to wear when you heat up on uphill sections.
This jacket has a number of practical features to make it more wearable such as highly water resistant zips, adjustable hood, hem and cuffs along with some good sized pockets. Berghaus have also spent some time improving the green credentials with this shell using PFC-Free DWR and bluesign approved fabrics which is great to see.
