Our Verdict
Mountain Equipment's Comici Trail Shorts use tough softshell fabric with good stretch to provide a comfy fit. There's an elasticated waistband on these shorts that can also be adjusted with an integrated belt which is a good addition. It's a little fiddly at first but becomes easier to use after a few times using it.
The hand pockets are pretty deep, which is great as it actually makes them very useful. The pocket on the thigh is good for something like a compass, multi-tool or trail snacks.
