Our Verdict
I was impressed by how much room this bag has even with someone else in it, there is a lot of room to toss and turn. The amount of room in the foot box is especially generous, and because of the individual 2-way zips, if one of you is a warm sleeper, and the other is a cold sleeper, you can tailor the venting on each side, to ensure you both get a good night sleep
Insulated with 650 fill power, bluesign Certified Down. Treated with big Agnes’s DownTek which helps repel water, and quickens drying time. For added protection, the Polyester ripstop outer lining of the bag has been treated with a DWR which will also protect the down from any moister.
Just so you know, the underside (the bit you sleep on) has no down insulation this saves weight, but you will need an appropriate mate with a good R-value, especially in cooler climates. The Flex Pad Sleeve means your air mat is securely held in place and accommodates all pads, you don’t need a specific double mat.
The indicated hood is very cosy, especially when it’s chilly out, both have a fabric slot which you can slip a pillow into, this prevents the pillow from moving around during the night.
If you find yourself solo for a trip, the bag can be doubled over and used by one person.
