A lightweight fleece mitt with serious protection. These Gore Infinium mitts provide all the protection you need from cold winds while also doing a great job of keeping out the rain too.
Shield your hands on blustery, cold days with the Infinium Windstopper Mitts. Made with a GORE® INFINIUM with WINDSTOPPER® technology fleece, these convertible mitts prevent brisk winds from penetrating, keeping your hands warm throughout the day. The reinforced palm is durable and strong, yet the mitt stretches for ultimate mobility. No need to take the mitts off when checking the snow report—they easily convert to fingerless gloves and stay in place, thanks to a magnetic back closure.
Marmot's Infinium Windstopper Mitts feel like a basic fleece mitt to begin with but the use of Gore's new Infinium Windstopper fabric makes a huge difference. They are still relatively thin and dexterous which is a real advantage and although they don't provide a massive amount of insulation this is ideal for me as my hands are generally pretty warm anyway.
The simplicity of these mitts is a real plus and with a little reinforcement across the palm and thumbs they are packable and lightweight. However, the touch screen compatibility is a real weakness, especially in a mitt which is difficult anyway, and I found it more frustrating trying to get any connection than useful.
