Our Verdict
Bridgedale's Hike Lightweight Merino Performance Ankle Pattern Socks combine comfort, style, cushioning and breathability really well. The Merino version is the provides extra warmth and padding due to the bulkier fabric but these mid cut ankle socks reduce weight and bulk through the design. They are best suited to cooler conditions and for anyone after comfort through longer walks.
The zoned design allows the socks to maximise comfort by placing some lighter materials across the top while additional cushioning is placed around areas with the most impact. The merino-synthetic blend keep more warmth in no matter what the conditions are. They also wick sweat well and have natural odour resistance.
