Extremities Guide Banded Beanie has a smooth outer face and fleecy finish to the inside, its windproof with low profile seams and delivers good warmth for its weight.
Extremities says: Fits very close to the head to allow a helmet to be worn comfortably over the top using WINDSTOPPER soft shell fabric for the ultimate in breathable windproof performance.
Smooth seams prevent rubbing and the cut comes down over the ears creating maximum weather protection. A great winter climbing or mountaineering accessory, but also suitable for winter walking and backpacking.
Our Verdict
Extremities' Guide Banded Beanie is a very lightweight windproof beanie with stretch. The Gore Windstopper fabric has a smooth outer surface and a fleecy Power Dry inner. The seams in the crown have been flatlocked for comfort and the hem is finished with an elasticated binding.
Its a simple beanie made from a lightweight high tech fabric and at 37grams delivers good protection and warmth. We like the tiny red and white wind stopper logo at the back of the beanie - gives it a bit of character!
