Our Verdict
This jacket is a testament to Patagonia’s principles, offering supreme warmth at an incredibly low weight (thanks to the 800-fill-power down), as well as the jacket's outer fabric being made from recycled fishing nets, helping to reduce the oceans pollution levels. Its low weight can be attested to its elegant minimalist design, elasticated, tapered cuffs mean the jacket fits superbly well, the over stuffed collar keeps the heat in as does the storm flap over the zip. The hand warming pockets do just that, and I am always pleased to find a loop in one of the pockets that I can attach my keys to.
