Sunday Afternoons hats offer incredible performance! We don' say that lightly, Sunday Afternoons are committed to designing headgear that protect the wearer from the sun and they achieve this in spades. You will find that they may not be the coolest hats image-wise but the protection they offer is invaluable.
The Adventure Stow Hat has three forms of protection. You can wear the cap in several ways to achieve different levels of protection. Firstly, the traditional cap with the 8cm foam filled brim with mesh vents for increased breathability. Both the main fabric and mesh have a UPF 50+ rating. Secondly, you can unfold the 7.5cm earflaps for greater coverage when the sun is out. Finally, in the harshest conditions you can use the long neck cape, that packs away until needed, for maximum protection.
All of the fabric used is breathable and fast drying. There is a CoolMax headband lining which massively improves the caps ability to wick away moisture. The usually adjustability is there too so anyone can find a comfortable fit and alterations can be made depending on the conditions.
